Access Specialists Receive Recognition

May 17, 2021

Access Specialists at Student Life Disability Services each partner with hundreds of students to ensure equitable access to campus life. Two of them recently received recognition for their contributions on campus.

Lead Access Specialist, Kelly Bonice, MSW, LSW, recently received "Buckeye Access All-Star" recognition status.  This is the second term in a row that an individual student completed a nomination on her behalf.  She is one of fewer than 8 faculty and staff on campus that have received a nomination two terms running.  Congratulations to Kelly for her commitment to student success!

Access Specialist, Kayli Futty, MA, CRC, was awarded the "Career Services Award" for her work within the University Career Services Committee and their IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) Team. She was also recognized for her part in their Program of the Year project on disability disclosure, which was enacted in collaboration with the Fisher College of Business. Thanks to Kayli for her collaborative efforts to support students' career goals!
