The Ohio State University is hosting a Goalball Clinic!

This event will showcase the adaptive sport of goalball and teach the Buckeye community how to play the Paralympic sport! There are 2 opportunities to play:

  • October 7th 6-8p.m. in the RPAC South Gym
  • October 8thm. – 12p.m. at the ARC

Workforce Recruitment Program

A Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) Recruiter will be interviewing students from OSU this fall. WRP helps qualified students and recent graduates with disabilities obtain internships and permanent positions with federal and private employers across the US. Procter & Gamble: Bold Leaders Scholarship Program!

Procter & Gamble is awarding twenty $10,000 scholarships, together with coveted P&G internships, to top diverse students in STEM-focused curricula who will bring new perspectives to P&G.

The BOLD Scholarship Program Award will include:

  • $10,000 scholarship towards college tuition
  • 10–12-week P&G internship in STEM/technical functions


Eligible students must be:

  • Current undergraduate juniors graduating in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024
  • Currently enrolled in a STEM degree program


For consideration in our first round, students must submit an application and complete P&G’s online assessments. Future finalist rounds will consist of interviews and a short essay component. For more information and the link to apply, see here:



Two Opportunities for Emerging Leaders with Disabilities

2023 AAPD Paul G. Hearne Emerging Leader Award

Deadline to Apply: October 12, 2022

The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) will recognize emerging leaders or groups with disabilities who exemplify leadership, advocacy, and dedication to the broader cross-disability community. While the Paul G. Hearne Emerging Leader Awards have previously recognized only two individuals, they have expanded the eligibility status to allow for groups of people working on an initiative to apply for the award.

Apply for the 2023 Paul G. Hearne Emerging Leader Award by Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 5:00pm ET.

AAPD will host a Zoom webinar on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm ET for any interested applicants to review the information and answer any questions you have.
